Russell Lakes SWA, 2 pkg areas. Sign permits camping for self-contained vehicles. Free but SWA pass required (see CO NOTE 5, SWAs). No stay limit posted, employee cleaning restrooms said 2-3 nights, longer if hunting. However, state website says it is prohibited “to camp or to park travel trailers or campers on a SWA over 14 days in a 45-day period”. 1) US-285 MM 76.1, ~10.5 mi S of Saguache (~25 mi N of Monte Vista), E side. 37.93819 -106.14411.
