Indian River Walking Trail, pkg lot. Coming into town on PH-390 from TCH-1, pass the Tim Horton’s & Irving sta, TR on Main St. Follow signs ~1 KM to Indian River Trail. Lot is down a steep rd opposite #9 Main St, on R. N49 29.426 W56 4.482. Park at top of hill & check ahead for space. Room for 1 lg RV or 2 sm ones. Not recommended for lg vehicles towing. Park in late afternoon, lot fills w/ locals after supper. Walking trail thru a marsh w/ descriptive signboards, ~4 KM return. Very quiet at night. Suzan & Art Horovitch #55814 stayed Jun 13. Pkg lot. No facilities. Free. Coming into town on PH-390 from TCH-1, pass the Tim Horton’s & Irving sta, TL on Main St, go less than 1 KM to lot on L between Anglican Church & Coleman’s Food Store. N49.50201 W56.06722. Park at back of lot away from store, but not on the church’s asphalt lot. Room for 1-2 lg rigs. Lot is somewhat uneven & not quite level. Info & craft shop, pkg area. Permission granted to stay O/N by mgr. TCH-1, ~1 KM E of turnoff to Springdale (PH-390), just E of an Esso. Look for lg white “iceberg” replica outside. N49.48065 W56.19072. Park closest to the mailboxes at right angle to the TCH. Room for 1 or 2 lg rigs. Shop has local woolen items & outdoor wear at great prices. Very helpful tourist info.
