Sand Cove Reservoir. BD. No facilities except firerings. Free. No signs. Go ~2 mi S of town on SR-18 (~14 mi N of St George), TR (W) at 37.31566 -113.67793 (turnoff not signed). ~20 yards down partly washboarded gravel rd is sign “Upper Sand Cove 2 mi”. Park along side of interior rd. Could be difficult to level, muddy if rain. Lower Cove 4 mi further but access rd rough, steep. Jan & Ron Chisman #76257 viewed Apr 12.

Pine Valley Rec Area (NF). 41 BD sites & several dbl sites. Tables, fire rings. Potable W, vault toilets, trash bins. $15, S/A Pass 1/2. Dbl site $30, no discount. 14-day limit. Mid May-late Sep. All but 6 sites reserveable. Go 7 mi N of town on SR-18 to Central. TR on FR-35 (paved) to Pine Valley, TL on Main St, go 3 mi. 37.3743 -113.46697. Paved rds & pads. Most size RVs. Fills most wkends. No cell service. D avail on FR-35 ~4 mi E of SR-18, no potable W. 7000′ elev. Among mature ponderosa pines. Stream & sm reservoir run thru CG. Paved hiking path along stream, several hiking trails from the CG. Tim & Jan Johnson #37844 stayed Sep 15.
