South Thimble Island Scenic Stop, pkg lot. Buses welcome. Restrooms in restaurant when open. Free. 18-hr limit. 3.5 mi N of town on Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Park on E (NB) side, towards ctr of island for relatively flat area. Can call Security 757-331-2960 to stop traffic if necessary when leaving to get turned around to the direction you need to get back on hwy. Fishing pier, info signs, views of ship traffic.
