Nomad View/The Wall, Buffalo Gap Natl Grasslands (NF). BD. Fire ring. Free. I-90 x110 at Wall, go 6.5 mi S on SR-240 toward Badlands NP’s Pinnacles entrance. ~1/2 mi before entrance, TL on dirt rd (if you go past it there is a turnaround area just in front of the gates). A sm bldg w/ towers is visible on top of the hill at end of rd. Once at “The Wall”, go either L or R to numerous pullouts. 43.89296 -102.23687. Several level sites. Very quiet. Sage Creek CG (Badlands NP). BD. Pit toilet, covered tables. Trash bins. Free. 14-day limit. I-90 x110 at Wall, go 10 mi S on SR-240 to NP entrance (fee Apr-Sep). Just past entrance turn W on Sage Creek Rd (can be impassable after heavy rain, can be washboard some places), go 14 mi, CG on L 1 mi down access rd. Sign marks turn. N43 53.639 W102 24.835. Level, room for 20 RVs. Park does not recommend lg rigs. Horse tie area, horse smell at CG. Very quiet & dark at nite. No Verizon. Clear sky to S. W & fuel in Wall. Free D at Wasta RA 10 mi W of Wall on I-90. Buffalo, mule deer, coyote, prairie dog, antelope & rattlesnakes in area. Hiking on buttes E & W of camp.
