Mann Creek Rec Area CG (BOR, NF maint). 12 back-in sites, tables (some sheltered), firering/grills. Potable W, vault toilets. $10, dbl site $15, extra vehicle $2, S/A Pass 1/2 on all. 14-day limit. Some sites marked reservation-only. Open thru 10/31. 11.5 mi N of Weiser on US-95, MM 95.2, watch for sign for Upper Mann Creek Rd, go 2.8 mi W (at 0.1 mi in, bear L at fork) to entrance on L. N 44 24.724 W 116 54.308 (a short distance from Sportsman Access signed “no camping”). Any size RV, but not lg w/ tow(ed), tight corners w/ boulders lining rd & low hanging branches. Adj picnic area has lovely lawn, lg shade trees. Fishing. Boat ramp & dock at N end of reservoir (~250′ from low water line Aug 15). Creek runs behind CG. Poor cell signal. John/Jean Heller Jun 92. Free. 14 day limit posted, checked. 11.5 mi N of Weiser on US-95, MM 95.2, watch for sign for Upper Mann Creek Rd (do not take Mann Creek Rd to E), go 1.3 mi W (at 0.1 mi in, bear L at fork) to Mann Creek Dam, TL, go over dam (rd turns to good gravel past dam), continue 1.1 mi, make sharp R on 1st rd at a light pole & mailbox (do not take 2nd rd up to house), go down the hill (gear down, a little steep & washboarded). Near the bottom at a fork are 2 “Camping Area” signs pointing to L & R. Rd to L goes up hill to a flat area w/ 4 lg sites, portajohn, sparse short trees, good cell signal. N44 23.56 W116 54.21. Rd to R goes down to 4 lg sites, tables, firering/grills, pit toilet, trash can, no cell signal, boat ramp, shore fishing. N44 23.49 W116 54.13.
