Alamo Lake SP CGs. Flush & pit toilets/portajohns. Showers. BD $15. EW $22, EWS $25. Long-term avail. From US-60 at Wenden, go ~34 mi N on Alamo Rd (well signed for the SP). After a lg sign that says Entering Fee Area, go 0.3 mi to Cholla Rd, TR, find CG areas well signed. Loop E at 34.25829 -113.56516. Farther down the rd is a sign “No Camping Beyond This Sign”, then the rd ends at a boat ramp. Paved rd all the way. Also more camping near store ~1.5 mi past Cholla Rd. Fish cleaning stations, battery charging stations, store. No cell signal camp areas A, B, & Ramada. Cell 2-3 bars areas C, D, E. Park 928-669-2088, reserve 520-586-2283. Lake quite low Feb 15. Alamo Lake SWA (AZ Game & Fish Dept). Established BD sites along lake & on hills above. No facilities. Free. 14-day limit. From US-60 at Wenden, go N on Alamo Rd (well signed for the SP, paved), TR, on gravel, at Wayside Inn turnoff just after MM 28, go 3.2 mi E to Inn (RV park). Go L on BLM Rd 9786 which has a “Dead End” sign (do not go L on rd signed to the SP, or R on rd signed to US-93 Wickenburg). Along this rd you will find a few BLM primitive camp sites, then a sign that you are entering the SWA. Any size rig. Also TR on Browns Crossing Rd before entering SWA, follow to top of hill & BD sites on L, 34.26424 -113.55767. Go another ~1/4 mi, on R is “old Wayside” site w/ concrete pads & flat BD. D ($5 if camping, $10 if not, free if camping 1 wk or more). BD $8, $40/wk, $100/mo. EW $14, $70/wk, $160/mo + E (16c/kwh). 4-mo limit. Open all yr. ~1 mi W of Wenden, US-60 MM 60.1 (4 mi E of Salome, 33.81295 -113.55818), go S on Centennial Park Rd 1.6 mi to CG on R. 33.78985 -113.55821. Next to & affiliated w/ 9-hole par 32 golf course (low fees). Sites amid desert shrubs. Sports fields, playground, tennis court, horseshoe pits, public library. Verizon 4 bars.
