Juniper CG, Bandelier NM (NPS). 55 BD, shaded, mostly back-in sites. Grills, tables. Restrooms w/ flush toliets & single E outlet. Central threaded W hydrants. D, dumpster. $12, S/A Pass 1/2. 14-day limit. No reservations. Closed late fall – late spring. From Santa Fe, go N on US-285/84 to Pojoaque, then W on SR-502 & S on SR-4 (9.2 mi S of White Rock). From Albuquerque, take I-25 x242 N of town, go W on US-550 ~25 mi to SR-4, go N long distance thru mtns (tight switchbacks, sm rigs only). Rd is paved, but ask about conditions before taking mtn route in winter. After entrance sta take 1st R turn for Juniper CG. There are 3 loops, but only 1 or 2 may be open at any given time as the CG rarely fills to capacity. Newly paved road & site pads. 85% of sites are sm-med. Several are OK for up to 40′ RV. Last loop (C) has more long sites. Can park towed vehicle in Amphitheater lot if needed. Some shade. Generators 8a-8p. Verizon 1 bar, better in town. 70 miles of trails, some closed due to fire/flood. Pueblo cliff dwellings near Visitor Ctr. Weak Verizon & ATT. Ctr of town on SR-4, on Visitor Ctr lot, next to fire sta, across from library. 35.82682 -106.21227. Somewhat unlevel. Good Verizon, mostly unshaded. Very quiet. Free ~7 mi shuttle to Bandelier NM.
