I-10 x340, go N to 1st rd N of fwy ramps, TR toward Holiday Inn, TR just after motel on Circle 1 Rd, go 0.4 mi to lot. 32.27201 -109.84089. 2 marked RV spaces (1 is Apple Annie’s, avail only if they are closed), could also use car spaces for ~3 more. Apple Annie’s Country Store (great pie) next door will let you park behind their bldg if your rig is going to be there during the day, so that visitors can use the paved spaces. From I-10Bus/Haskell Ave in town, go 6 mi SW on Maley St/SR-186, TR on Kansas Settlement Rd, go ~3.5 mi, N of MM 16, TR (W) into pkg area. 32.14187 -109.75681. Or, from the S on US-191, ~3 mi SE of Pearce go ~16.5 mi N on Kansas Settlement Rd, TL into pkg area. SWA sign is up turnoff rd ~70′ from hwy, light tan, hard to read & find. No vehicle use outside pkg area. Room for 4 to 7 depending on size & other parked vehicles. Turnaround may be difficult due to huge potholes. Some rd noise, fairly quiet at night. (This is not part of the big playa at W end of town, do not take the dirt rd along the RR tracks to go from one to the other, it does not go thru.) Lake w/ reclaimed water managed for wildlife. Follow signs “Big Rig & RV Parking” to R of store, around bldg to other side. Room for several lg rigs. Sm/med rigs can park around the edges by the trees. Usually fairly quiet for an interstate stop. Advertises “The Thing” across several states. Sm museum, nice exhibit of Americana farm life from 1st half of 20th century. Dairy Queen.
